It’s a long time since I’ve felt so new at something.
Most of the blogs I read are presenting information from experts. If it’s about blogging or writing, a blog entry will take some element of the craft and give a list of important points.
I don’t yet know enough to do this. I feel that this is a blog that’s looking for information, rather than giving it. I hope that will change in time.
In the meantime, here are some articles that I found interesting.
I’ve been following chrisblogging for a number of months now, and love the short, fact-filled entries. His recent article Day One of your Freelance Writing Career which couldn’t be more appropriate for me right now. He points out the importance of having a business plan and a marketing plan. Needless to say, I have neither.
Damyanti was an early encouraging commenter on my blog, and in her blog Amloki, she has a very interesting article Web freelance writing opportunities, which I also found really interesting in identifying the different jobs I can aspire to.
